fire truck notice

when there's a fire and you call the fire department you want them to come  fast right? you don't want them to have to stop every time someone doesn't pull over do you? so do you really want to keep them waiting? Yesterday I saw that a fire truck was coming down the lane I was driving in, and so most people would think you would either pull over or change lanes. But what I saw was that no one moved, so I was afraid that if I moved over that someone would run into me. But anyway the fire truck finally moved around us to an empty lane. but really if you where in a fire, would you want to have to wait for some person who wouldn't move! NO! I wouldn't want to wait.
